CLASSICAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTING Classes
You can study specific areas of interest in art with us all year round. The art courses below in portraiture, landscape and abstraction can all be done in the weekly classes on Wednesday and Saturdays , time 10-4 pm. You choose your area of interest and we will guide you through the process of developing your skills in Painting and or drawing in a classical or contemporary style.. Each course is four days long and is part of a series of courses that you can take. These can be taken on dates of your choice over 2 weeks or 6 weeks. The courses are designed to accommodate all levels from beginners to advanced and are incremental in nature. We advise doing 4 courses over time to get a good basis in the area you are studying. We understand many of you need to balance your work life with developing your skills in Art at a pace that suits your timetable and budget all year round.
One of the main questions we are asked is if you are a beginner can you avail of these courses? Yes all clients are trained individually at the level they join the studio at. 100s of clients from all walks of life have successfully developed beautiful skills in drawing and painting.

CONTINUING TO STUDY IN EAST COAST ART STUDIOS
When you complete this initial workshop we would advise clients to do another course and hone in on the areas that started to interest you. Clients can also book the EVENING CLASSES or the DAYTIME CLASSES on Wednesdays & Saturdays. In these sessions, you can develop your practice throughout the year and focus on whatever subjects and techniques are of interest to you, either in contemporary or classical painting and drawing. We also recommend you do the drawing course as drawing underpins all painting.
